Introduction to Stone Bear

Picture
Spend quiet time at The Lodge where Frank Meuse and other community storytellers will share experiences of the land, our culture/history, and of our own journeys.

When you spend time with us, our goals for visitors are:
1)   to reconnect to the Forest/Land
2)   to reconnect to each other in the group
3)   to learn more about Mi'kmaw history, culture, and worldview

We follow our ancestors' ways of sharing through storytelling and interpretive strolls through the woods. We want to help visitors to see the Forest one tree at a time. We spend time reconnecting to each other through sharing circles and activities. And various crafts and cultural demonstrations are offered in different times of the year as our resource people are available (please contact us to know which workshops are possible for your group).

Wela'lioq.

(Please note we will be re-opening in mid-May. Contact us for a booking.)
